Hello Minnesota Regional Telecommunications Coordinators,
As coordinators you help school districts and their educators find ways to use technology such as Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) to help facilitate classroom education. The Minnesota Historical Society (MHS) as you know is currently working on developing IVC programs for Minnesota Educators. The Minnesota Historical Society is currently gathering information about existing IVC programs and would like to see some of these programs firsthand. In order to view these IVC classes firsthand MHS is offering the chance for Minnesota Educators to receive a FREE IVC Class. Attached is a flyer which gives details about what teachers will do if chosen to participate in this free IVC class such as: · Feedback on the pre/post materials received with your IVC program used in the classroom.
· Teacher evaluation of the IVC program.
· Student evaluation of the IVC program.
· Participation in Minnesota Historical Society’s new initiative IVC programs.
In order for educators in your region to participate they need to be able to provide the following information:
· Choose an IVC Class listed in the flyer.
· List 3 days and times that would work for their classroom to have an IVC class.
· Provide their information and school’s contact information.
Attached is the flyer that provides much greater detail about the FREE IVC CLASSES available and what educators need to do. In order for the teachers in your region to receive a free class we need your help and ask that you email the attached flyer to them.
If you have any questions please contact me and thank you for helping the Minnesota Historical Society in developing a new program.
