I'm planning to go, but i'd rather not do the full trip around the
lake either, and i'll skip out if it's raining. I haven't mapped
anything out yet, but i'd like to do something more like from the park
to Stockholm and back, preferably at least some of it on gravel, total
around 60 miles or so. I think a century at this point would be more
of a slog for me than a training ride. I also want to be back in town
by around 4-5, so that limits the distance for me too.

Don't be overwhelmed by the 107 miles. Think of it at 10.7 ten-mile
rides, half of which you can coast downhill. Easy.

I'll likely be driving there myself, since i will need to get back to
the city earlier and probably won't ride the full route. I have room
for one more bike and 1-3 more passengers if needed.

I'm not sure if you were talking to me or not but my plan is to
attempt the entire route. I'll bail out early if I get too tired. I'm
driving down to Red Wing solo in order to preserve my ability to do
so. I plan on being at Bay Piont Park by no later than 9:00am. With
extra socks.
Water crossings?
