Electric Vehicle Neighborhood Ride & Drive will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis. You will be talking to attendees about EVs and your experience. Lisa Thurstin is coordinating this and she is requesting 2-3 people per shift, so there are1 or 2 people in the vehicle test drive queue area (2022 had 10-30 minute wait depending on the vehicle), and 1 person in the electric vehicle display viewing area.
The event includes:
- Test drive of 4 - 8 EVs
- Static vehicle displays and EV charging demonstrations.
- See how to set up charging at home through Xcel Energy interactive garage.
- Learn more about the cost savings of driving electric.
The following vehicles will be available for a test drive: Kia EV6 GT Line AWD, Polestar 2, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and Hyundai Ioniq 5 (more may be added to the list)

Xcel Energy EV Proposal comments
Make your voice heard and submit your comments before the April 5 deadline.
As an EV Owner you should consider submitting your comments This is a very important proposal for Xcel and would provide a lot of charging infrastructure and even electric buses in Minnesota.
