On Monday, June 5th from 6-8PM, we will combine a fun social EV gathering with an exceptional learning opportunity. We will get together on the top level of the University of St Thomas Anderson Parking Facility for social time. From there, Professor
Mahmoud Kabalan will lead us in small groups for tours at the UST Center for Microgrid Research facility and lab that is housed in an adjacent building.
University of St Thomas Center for Microgrid Research
runs a real-world industry-grade microgrid and research lab on the UST campus in St Paul, Minnesota. The microgrid can operate in: (1) grid-connected mode, (2) island-mode and (3) seamlessly transition from grid-connected to island modes and vice versa. For

Governor Walz signs omnibus bills providing many EV funding appropriations.

Environment, Natural Resources, Climate and Energy Omnibus Bill
Electric Vehicle Rebates
$2,500 for a new electric vehicle purchase
$600 for a used electric vehicle purchase
Rebates will be available at point of sale.
New vehicles must have an MSRP cap of $55,000.
Used vehicles must have a purchase price of no greater than $25,000.
