MNEVO meeting next Wednesday 1/4, 6-8PM, Used EV market at GS Motors

High gas prices have increased interest in EVs and there has never been so many used EVs available on the market. Hopefully, this will cause many Minnesota families to shift to driving electric.
Therefore, it is good for all of us to get an update on the used EV market, and who better to talk about the topic than Pavel Ihnatovich, who has been selling used EVs at his dealership GS Motors in Hopkins for nearly a decade. Hundreds of people have started their EV journey with Pavel, so we are happy that he has invited us to his shop to chat about the topic. This will be a less structured meeting, with more opportunities to chat with everyone, talk shop about EVs and test drive some cars. Then we will have a 45-minute discussion with Pavel about where he sees the used EV market now, what works well and where we need more education. This will also be a great opportunity to bring along a friend who is considering getting an EV. There will be no shortage of experience available between Pavel and our members on any make and model.

OK, some of you noticed that I accidentally typed the meeting date in European order in my last invitation. I hope I didn’t confuse too many people. 😊

Anyhow, it is tomorrow evening, and I hope you can join us there. Be aware that parking is in short supply so please carpool if possible and be prepared to park a bit further away and walk if needed. In case you have mobility impairment, just stop at GS Motors and someone can come and pick you up from wherever you end up parking.

April is also Drive Electric Month and many of you are organizing EV events. Lisa Thurstin will bring some materials, flags, and other resources to this event so we can figure out logistics to support those events.
