Long time, no see!
We had our last meeting in October and the world has changed a bit since then. Many of these changes have brought crosswinds and headwinds to the EV market, but this is nothing we haven’t faced before. That said, there has never been a
stronger need for grass-roots EV advocacy, and as EV owners we are well-equipped for that. This will be one of our discussion topics at our March meeting on Wednesday, March 19, from 5:30-8:30PM at
EvoCharge headquarters in Eden Prairie. Alongside our EV advocacy conversation, we have some other exciting and timely topics. Here’s an overview:
The Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) has been working on fleet electrification by installing charging infrastructure in their facilities and adding electric buses to their fleet. We will have
an opportunity to test ride one of their new electric MVTA Connect buses and hear more about MVTA electrification efforts.
EvoCharge will update us on their new charging stations and some cool charging infrastructure projects they have executed recently.
Finally, we will have the discussion on how we as EV Owners can make an impact by educating people about transportation electrification.
This promises to be an information packed meeting. Thanks to EvoCharge for hosting us.
