We had a really busy EV event fall season. After our strong showing at the State Fair, our EV Event Calendar listed 19 events in September and October. That takes a lot of coordination and volunteers, so thank you to everyone who coordinated events and joined the efforts by showing their EV and sharing their experiences with attendees. Now, when the event season is winding down, it is good to meet and talk about what will happen next. Xcel Energy will host our meeting next month at their corporate headquarters in downtown Minneapolis.
Xcel Energy has a bold clean transportation vision: “Our Vision is to enable one out of five vehicles in the areas we serve to be electric by 2030 and all vehicles to run on carbon-free electricity or other clean energy by 2050.” Xcel has already rolled out several programs to advance EV adoption, and next they will focus on four areas: Public Charging Programs; Residential Programs; Commercial Pilots; and Partnerships, Research, and Innovation (PRI.) Join us to learn more about their efforts and get a chance to ask your questions.

Xcel building security will need an attendee list in advance and this meeting has limited seating so register right now to make sure you get a spot. Here is the registration link:
