The Asian
Development Bank (ADB) under the CAREC Program is currently in the process of
preparing the CAREC Regional Improvement of Border Services (RIBS) Project.
Mongolia is one of the three countries to be covered under this project. ADB is
fielding a reconnaissance mission on 19-21 March 2012 to discuss with the
Mongolian Government issues related to project preparation, in particular the
institutional arrangements for the project, including the border crossing point
component and the single window component.
In relation to
this, an inter-agency meeting will be held at the ADB Resident Mission in
Mongolia on 21 March 2012, 9:30AM to discuss and clarify the major
understandings regarding the project preparation with a view to achieving
better coordination and the timely completion of all activities related to
project preparation.
