Smart App Control blocking Mnemsyne

Do you know how to turn off Smart App Control?

Microsoft is blocking Mnemosyne.exe because they can't confirm who wrote it and it is not an app that they are familiar with.

I have selected Send feedback but nothing has changed.

It looks like if I turn it off in Settings, then lots of bad things happen.

Is there any way to tell Microsoft that mnemosyne is legitimate?

When you get that error message, there should be a button called
'advanced' or 'more info' or something like that. When you click it,
you should get the option to install it at your own risk.
