Suggestion: "Skip Card"

I would love to see an update that allows you to temporarily skip a card. If I am reviewing a number of cards and get a difficult one, if I could skip it and do a few cards and then see it again mixed in a random order, I could probably recall it. What I do now in such cases is to close and reopen Mnemosyne, or deactivate that category temporarily, both annoying and not completely effective fixes.

This is indeed not implemented, and as you mentioned, a workaround is using “deactivate cards”, e.g. by having a tag called ‘skipped’, which you deactivate.

 

In general, for feature requests, please see our uservoice forum. I believe a feature like this was already suggested, so you can add your vote to it.
