Need Help Deactivating

Hi All,

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I am trying to deactivate a set of cards so that I can start a new batch of cards- I will need to do this frequently for Mnemosyne to be of any use to me. I am finding it impossible to deactivate my current set and start a new set. It is likely a user error, but I am not finding it to be intuitive at all. I have tried every which way of deactivation and when I close out of that window I am back at the same old batch of cards. I would like to utilize this program. Any words of wisdom?

Hi,

 

Go to ‘(De)activate cards’, and select/deselect tags and card types to make your selection. If you click “Ok”, your selection will be applied.

 

If you need to do this often, after you make your selection, click ‘save this set for later use’ and give the set a name. Later on, if you want to activate this set, just click its name in the list at the top of the dialog and press OK. (On a handy shortcut is double-clicking the name, which will apply the set and choose the dialog).

 

I would be interested to hear what changes I could make to the dialog which would have have made this less confusing for you.
