Hello,

Every since I upgraded to mnemosyne 2.2.1 I've been having problems with my cards database.

I train every day until I've answered all my cards. However, sometimes, when I launch it to do my daily trainings, it prompts me again for cards that I've already answered recently; looking at Statistics > Current Card shows the card as overdue for days (e.g. it says it's 4 days overdue, even though I did answer it 4 days ago and I wasn't prompted for it again, until today). From all I can tell, mnemosyne behaves as if I had not answered any questions for a few days. If at that point I Exit and restart mnemosyne, it'll sometimes, after a few attempts, eventually catch up to the current/expected state.

I just had some different issue now: I launched mnemosyne today and it showed me a lot of questions that it should have been asking me in the last few days but hadn't. This time I believe their showing "overdue" seems genuine, but I'm stumped that mnemosyne didn't ask them to me in the last few days. e.g. I have one card that shows as 4 days overdue, but I hadn't been prompted for it yesterday, nor the day before yesterday.

So it looks as if some parts of the cards database or of the log of recent answers became invisible.

(Just in case: I never change the active/inactive cards; all my cards are always active.)

Is there some known bug? Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Anything I might look into to avoid this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,

In any case, please upgrade to the latest version 2.3.1.

I've not yet seen the behaviour you describe, but in theory this could be caused by your computer's clock misbehaving. Perhaps the BIOS battery needs replacing?

Cheers,

Peter
