On windows the database is located here:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Mnemosyne

default.db is the database file and default.db_media is the media directory.

Personally I use dropbox and a symbolic link to keep theese folders in sync between two computers.

Many thanks in advance.

If you want to copy the files just once, Gnome's instructions are the
way to go.

If you want to review on both computers all the time, it's much faster
to use the built-in sync Mnemosyne sync mechanism. (On one computer,
active the sync server in 'configure mnemosyne'. Then, on another
computer (where you have *NOT* copied over the server directory,
delete it otherwise), use 'file - sync' to connect to the server.

This requires the server computer to be running all the time though,
which might not be workable for some.

Peter, are there any plans to move out the mnemo server to a separate
component, so that it may be run headless as a windows service or *nix
daemon? (Or can that be done now?)

Not really, but feel free to open a feature request, so that other
people can vote for it too.

Kind regards,

Peter
