Hey all,

New to mnemosyne but just want to say its been fantastic so far!

However, when I add images to cards (small JPGs ~200x200 pixel) and I go to "browse cards" and try to edit any card, the program crashes every time.

When I delete images from media folder and reload the database file, it works fine again. I tried downgrading versions, using .PNG instead, no luck.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

UPDATE:

Its not related to the images. Clicking on a card to edit under "browse cards" will just randomly crash it now. Only way for temp fix is to remove database file, start up mnemosyne, close, replace database, restart. :/

Hi,

Since you're on a Mac and I'm not, I copy Devin, our osx packager.

Cheers,

Peter

I'll take a look at this issue today or this week and post what I find. Thanks for reporting!

Hi Andy

I've just taken a moment tonight to look at this and I was able to add a .png file to a card and open Browse Cards. That said, I built the application bundle so if something's linked improperly my computer is the wrong one to test on!

I'm going to try to dig deeper when I next get a chance. That might be this week or next week. In the meantime, could you send me really specific steps that would help me replicate the error? Even if it's just the text of the card including the image tag that causes the failure. Also, if you could send me 1-2 sample images that have caused a problem for you, I can try using those to see if it causes the problem on my machine.
