export decks to Anki

How can I export Mnemosyne 2.1+ *.cards into Anki 1.2.9 ?
(Or may be to any other format that support a media content; I'm afraid tab-separated text isn't).

I thought Anki had a Mnemosyne importer? If it doesn't work, then it's best
to ask on the Anki mailing list.
