Hi,

I finally managed to run Mnemosyne on N900 via Easy Debian (so it's the desktop version) and had a great time with it. Today I tried to sync. The sync worked perfectly in the past but now I'm getting an error "Sync cycle detected. Sync through intermediate partner". I don't really have any other device to sync through. The desktop says that the next sync will have to be a full sync

I did accidentally delete .config and .cache since I messed something up with my phone and I was trying to fix it. I moved the desktop db but the error persists. Do you have any idea why?

All the changes since the last sync were done on the phone.

Hi,

I suggest upgrading to the latest version both on your phone and desktop, and then deleting the Mnemosyne data dir on the phone (so not just the database file but the entire dir), so that the first sync is a sync from scratch again.

Cheers,

Peter

Well, I couldn't really delete the phone db since it was over 200 flashcards repeated/learned. But removing ~/.config/mnemosyne and ~/.local/share/mnemosyne on the computer did the trick.
