tried to import a pre made japanese list onto mnemosyne and got a massive error screenshots attached

Hi

This morning I tried to download http://mnemosyne-proj.org/cards/remembering-kanji-1-heisig
I went Import file -> clicked the file and then this happened

then when I clicked ok it started to say "Importing cards..." and it has been like this ever since (about half an hour already)

What did I do wrong and how can I fix it?

I am on MAC, and I have the latest version

I won't touch it until I get some advice

Just some additional information

Right before I tried the import I did a back up save onto my External Hard drive.
Could this be why it didnt work??

HI,

I assume you used 'save as' as opposed to just copying the database with your file manager? With 'save as', the default database location will have been saved to your external drive, and if you remove that drive, you will run into problems.

Just abort the program and start again. In the 2.3 prerelease, you should get a dialog box allowing you to choose a working database: go back to the one on your fixed drive.

If have 2.2, you need to delete ~/Library/Mnemosyne/config and start again.
