Two different languages

Is there a way I can keep two different sets of cards and be tested on them independently each day? I'm wondering whether if I download Mnemosyne a second time, it will simply wipe out everything on the first version I downloaded?

Do you think you can file cards in different categories and
activate/deactivate them when needed?
