I tried something simple. Mounted my Windows partition on Linux and on Mnemosyne I opened my Windows' partition's 'default.db' file (the one inside "%appdata%\Mnemosyne"). It successfully loaded the file. I was able to study just fine, the statistics worked correctly (I could see my old data) and it also appended the new data to the Windows' partition' statistics file.
The problem is that I have read multiple times that I shouldn't just copy the database file in case I want to synchronize my Mnemosyne data. Even if I didn't copy it and only used the original .db, it still feels a little wrong.
Wouldn't be better to change the data directory if Mnemosyne to my Windows' "%appdata%\Mnemosyne" folder?
In short, I'm asking what would be the best way (most proper and stable) way to synchronize my Mnemosyne's data between two OS in the same hard drive?
Thank you for reading, thanks for this wonderful software and please forgive my bad English.
(Sorry if I end up posting the same post nany times, I had some problems with the connection.)
