New cards per day

Hi,

How many new cards per day is recommended? Anki recommends a max of 20 per day but Anki's intervals seem to be smaller (1 day, 3 day, 6 days) than Mnemosyne (1 day, 6 day, 17 days) so what is a recommended number of cards per day?
