Problem When Sysnc My Note 9 to my Mnemosyne server

i am getting an error when i try to sync my phone to my server.

the card on my server work fine but the app throws and error please see attached error message any help would be appreciated thanks

hello Thanks for your assistance. i have to post the error message in jpeg because there is no way to copy the text ans send it to you.

i have labelled the images 1 through 4 it appears that i captured the whole error message.

this app is by far the best spaced repetition application avaiable

I would suggest deleting /sdcard/Mnemosyne and resyncing again.

Hello Peter,

I deleted Mnemosyne from my phone Several times after reinstalling the app i still got the error.

but i got the idea to delete Mnemosyne from my PC. here is what i discovered the app creates folders in two different locations when installing. upon uninstalling only one folder location is deleted. i have to go in manually delete the other

the same is true on the phone App. even though i have all my app installed on my sd card Mnemosyne still created a folder on my internal storage. when i removed both folders the App started to work fine.

i believe the installation process has a flaw there is no need to create folders in multiple locations. if i did not like this application so much i would of given up on trying to use it

Glad you got it to work, but I'm a bit confused. What are the locations of the two directories, both on Windows and on your phone? Mnemosyne isn't supposed to do that..
