Hello,

Would it be possible to have the option to increase non-latin characters for vocabulary cards also? I would have use for this feature!

If you're using Vocabulary cards, you can simply change the font size
for the 'foreign word or expression' field in 'configure card appearance'.

Cheers,

Peter

I'm using the vocabulary so that in that field I have both roman and chinese characters. And the problem is that the roman characters are too big compared to the chinese ones.

Why can't you put the chinese characters in 'foreign word' and the roman
characters (e.g. pinyin) in 'pronunciation' or in 'notes'?

I'm not using it for learning language, I'm using it to learn acupuncture points which have both chinese and roman characters the way I'm learning them (the pronounciation field is for the functions of the points so I get to answer it every time), so it's a kind of a novel way of using the vocabulary feature. It's not a really big deal if I can't get bigger chinese characters, but as I saw the feature in the other card types I thought: Why not in the vocabulary cards also?

I'll think about it, but you are indeed describing a non-vocabulary use
for the vocabulary card type.

The reason why it's not implemented for vocabulary cards is that that
could lead to confusion, because there would be two ways active at the
same time to pick the font size of foreign words.

The cleanest solution would be to vote for our feature 'UI support for
N-sided cards', which would allow you create an Acupunture card type,
where you could style each file separately.
