I love mnemosyne. I am using it to improve my Welsh vocabulary mainly.

Now, from time to time, it would be nice to have a rolling display of my words without having to press a key and enter a score. Then I can do other stuff on my PC and just keep the display in the corner of my eye.

Is this possible to do with a plug-in?

Has it already been done?

Thanks.

Hi,

This is certainly possible in a plugin, but I’m afraid no one has written this yet…

Thanks Peter,

I have just found some plug-in examples on Github. I'm ok with Python so I think I will have a go and create one. If there is a repository for plug-ins then I will add it for others to share.

Ok, good luck! There's no plug in repository, but our website hosts a few plugins.

Cheers,

Peter

I would have to question the utility of doing this. Multitasking is generally detrimental to learning, and there would be no way for the machine to know if you had even seen the word that was just displayed, so how would it score that card?
