Hi Peter,

I have another question, maybe everybody shows the answer ...
I would like to add card directly in android. But now it is only possible on the desktop pc. Maybe it is possible in the future?

Thanks a lot
Jie

Hi,

I'm afraid it's not very high on my todo list, sorry...

Peter

This would be helpful for me too, because I could:
- use my soft keyboard on my smartphone to ûşë ş₱ëçïãl çhårãçtërş,  which are not visible on my PC's keyboard (e.g. for Turkish language or even Arabic)
- get rid of bad cards much more quickly (sometimes bad cards pile up in a set, which can be quite annoying)
- add tags to be able to better focus on a subject (because I usually add hundreds of cards at a time and afterwards tag them.)
- ...

Hi,

I find typing on a mobile device much more cumbersome than on a real keyboard, so personally I would not want to add a large number of cards on my phone.

Still, it's open source, so people are not dependent on me only to get new features in :-)

Hi,

I use the 'Star card' button to mark stuff that I need to edit later on my desktop.

Adding a full card editor to the Android version is a non-trivial amount of work, and I feel my limited time is better spent elsewhere currently. Maybe later.

Also, other people are free to contribute code as well :-)

Hi Peter,

I had once compiled the Android version of Mnemosyne to try out some stuff. Well, the project is not up to date anymore, therefore I have to set it up with Github now, but I am not so much used to Github. And there are so many dependencies.

Back then, I had to put some code from the PC Version into the Android version's code. Maybe you could add that to the manual, if that information not already in there? When I have compiled the Android version, I had to get this information from somewhere on the internet.

When I have time, I might do some work on Mnemosyne.

Greetings,

Abakus
