Mnemosyne 2 is unable to export data in the format of Mnemosyne 1,
simply because Mnemosyne 1 does not support all the new features present
in Mnemosyne 2.

So, it's up to Anymemo to provide support for Mnemosyne 2...

I suggest you ask Tim about the problems you have with Mnemododo, he
will probably be able to solve it.

Cheers,

Peter

What do you mean by "doesn't recognise it"?

Does AnyMemo provide special font support for Farsi?

For scripts that Android does not render correctly, and which thus
are not displayed properly by Mnemododo, the Gogorender plugin,
http://mnemosyne-proj.org/plugins/gogorender,
can often help (it does the rendering during export using the same Qt
libraries that Mnemosyne is based on).

Tim.

Good Morning,

I have a similar question, please.  I want to export some of my cards (with Arabic text and English) with certain tags, and unsure how to do so, without exporting the entire database?

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Ayesha

I think I figured it out by 'de-activating' cards.  And now the .txt appears more complicated than I am accustomed to, and I am unsure how to import into http://www.flashcardelite.com/, an iphone app that uses SM2.  My file is attached - I just need the Arabic text and the English translation and notes, not the audio for the app.

What do you advise, please?

Thank you.

I am sorry - I meant to say that I am confused by the 'coding' and when I try to import it into Quizlet (which I can access from within the flashcardelite app and download sets), I see the 'coding' included, which I don't want.  How do I export the txt so it imports correctly into Quizlet?

The txt file is encoded in the standard utf8 format. You should enquire with the quizlet people if they support this widespread encoding.

Cheers,

Peter
