Please help me import a card database from my computer to Android. I exported the cards to a Mnemosyne 2.x *.cards file. I transferred this file to a separate folder on Android. Then, in the app, I clicked the "import data" button and specified the path to the file. The phone notified me that I needed to grant the Mnemosyne app permission to access the folder contents. I granted the permission. After that, Mnemosyne simply opens without any cards. What could be the issue? I cannot sync because I have a dynamic IP.

The 'import data' is meant to be used in conjunction with 'export data' on Android, so the file format is different. As far as I remember, it's a zipped file which contains your database.

(*.cards files would not be a good choice anyway, because they don't contain review history).

If your IP doesn't change too often, the sync protocol will really be much more convenient...

Thank you for your response. I will try to set up synchronization. I discovered your app a long time ago—it's the best and irreplaceable! Thank you!
