Hello,

I normally update and use my flashcards on one computer, and then intermittently sync my cards onto a different computer to use as a back-up.  Today, when I was syncing between my two computers, instead of syncing the new set of flashcards, Mnemosyne synced the old set of flashcards instead!  So I have lost any new cards I have added.  Is there any way to undo this?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

Mnemosyne creates automatic backups [1]; check the specified locations and see
if that helps

Hi Susan,

Normally, it should be no problem to add new cards on any machine before syncing.

Did you get an error message while syncing?

What could also have happened is that you have two different databases with different names (e.g. A and B) on your two machines. If you have database A open on one machine and B on a different machine, and if you sync from the first machine, database A will sync, and B will be kept as is.

Hope this helps,

Peter
