Hi,

If the cards have e.g. a certain tag, you can go to 'Activate cards' and
then deactivate that tag.

If those cards don't have a tag, you can use the card browser, select
multiple cards, right click and then 'add tag'.

If you need more info, just let me know.

Cheers,

Peter

I just went in to the backups because I wanted to do a backup of my work and it ended up like this.

What does the entire message say? Please attach a screenshot, e.g.

Could you give some more details about what exactly you did, i.e. what
do you mean by 'going into the backups'?

BTW, for some Mnemosyne errors, deleting the file 'config' helps. It is
found in the same directory as 'default.db', usually
C:\users\nans\Application Data\Mnemosyne

Thank you very much for your answer!I deleted the file config as you said and it worked.
I have some another questions.
1) I was in panic when i could not open the program so I deleted the file config in library, trying to do something I had read in the forum. Is this going to have any wrong consequence on the program?
2) I have written my questions and answers in a file word and I know that it should be possibile to transfer them to Mnemosyne. If that is correct, how do I do this?
3) I want to save all my work elsewhere, i.e. in a pen drive or in another part of my hard disk, how do I do this?I want to be absolutely sure that my work does not go lost.
4) Is it possible to read the mnemosyne cards on google nexus 7?If so, how?

Thank you for your question and for making me easier to use this program

Cheers

No, that file just contains your saved preferences (fonts, settings,
...), so it's not vital.

Either use MnemoDodo: http://mnemosyne-proj.org/download-mnemosyne.php
or use the bundled program mnemosyne-webserver to do reviews in your
browser.

Hi,

I'm not talking about a directory. Just click on the Windows 'Start'
button in the lower left of the screen, and Browse to 'Mnemosyne'. The
webserver program should be listed right next to the regular Mnemosyne
program.
