Dear All Parents, Teachers, Students,

 

We will have our 22^nd session on Sunday, 3/19/2017.  If you know any families, friends have any child(ren) would like to start to learn Chinese, please forward the email to them.   Thanks.

 

The morning classes will start at 10AM EDT ( was 9AM EST ) , and the afternoon classes will start at 1PM & 3PM.  Our school building is at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, between 6 Mile Road and 7 Mile Road, on east side of Haggerty Road. Please see the class info on our website for the room assignments for each class.

  1.    Follow Traffic Rules on Campus
               

 

Please make sure you will  obey all the traffic rules while on campus.
 
      1.    No Speeding (Speed limit on campus is 15 mph),
      2.    Full stop at stop sign,
      3.    Yield to children/pedestrian everywhere on campus,
      4.    No Parked vehicle at fire lane unattended
      5.    No drop off in the front of the LA building, Please park in the parking lot. 

      6.    Please walk on the walk way on school property, not on the grass

 

  2.    MNCCS at Michigan Academic Games Super Tournament

 

AG Super Tournament summary:

 

 MNCCS Roosters  代表新世纪中文学校参加于3/1-3/3在Grand Rapids 举行的Michigan Academic Games Super Tournament。作为第一次参加州际比赛的小队员们在比赛中发挥出色， 取得了Minor Devision ( 三，四年级) ，On-Sets 项目亚军， On-Words项目亚军，和Equations项目小组第二的好成绩。 参赛队员分别是Katherine Chen，Ella Zhang， Shenhao Deng， Alyssa Tang 和 Huawei Ye。

 

祝贺队员们取得佳绩, 再接再励争取明年再创佳绩。尤其感谢自愿付出时间和精力的两位家长教练。

  3.    2017寻根之旅舞蹈营 - 江西营开始报名

 

CSAUS（协会）公布的13个夏令营报名情况非常踊跃。国侨办牵线江西省侨办为协会再提供20名额寻根之旅舞蹈营。具体行程请见附件。需要报名的学生请尽快邮件csausjia...@gmail.com。我们将以完成报名先后顺序录取。

【本校消息】 应众多华人要求, 方便假期旅行，本地中文学校将推出集体办理中国签证特别服务，并服务中国人协会(CAGD)等广大华人。定于3月26日星期日在新世纪中文学校现场办公, 特价优惠集体办理中国签证申请，预计4月9 或者16日的周末原地发还。

 

     美国护照 $140 可以办理10年签证；

     加拿大护照 $80可以办理10年签证；

     其他国家护照，$30 / $45 / $60 / $90　不等。

    服务费仅 $45 per passport； 中文学校和中国人协会成员另有 $5 优惠 ($40 each)
