On Oct. 24,1995 Arlin Troutt, owner of U.S. Hemp, was convicted
of conspiring to distribute marijuana. He is looking at 10 years to life.
Here are a few recommendations for those who would like to help:
1) Letters to the Honorable James Rosenbaum asking for leniency in the
sentence.
After all, Arlin is a hard working family man. He has always the uses of hemp,
even when being persecuted for his beliefs. All we are asking for is a few
words about Arlin as a father, businessman and friend.
How can a person who has offered a solution to our farm, food, paper, oil
and crime problems, provided jobs, and always taken care of his family, be
a danger to society? I believe the bigger threat here is locking up a man like
Arlin. Did we cut down violent crime in our community when we locked up Arlin,
an intelligent, productive person? Did we just make it safer for our children?
I know at the moment our 6 children are not feeling very safe.
Write letters to Honorable Judge Rosenbaum. they need to be mailed or faxed
to Arlin's attorney, Marc Kurzman.

2) Contact the Media-
Call or write, local, national, any media.
Justice did not prevail in the United States 8th Circuit Federal Court.
Perjury is common and a must for the prosecution. Judges allowing in
evidence for the prosecution that is irrelevant, yet not allowing evidence
to one's defense. A friend of ours had backed off the hemp issue, because
he didn't want to jeopardize his non-profit handicap business. He said you
might as well get off your complacent fanny and do something; because
they will come and bust your door down, even if you don't voice your
opinions. Just like they did to his.

I recently posted that there were 50,000 pot prisoners. As someone
pointed out, I was wrong. There are 1.5 million Americans behind bars.
60% are there for drugs. Of those 900,000 drug war prisoners, over half
are doing time for cannabis. That's 450,000 pot prisoners.
The jails ARE filled with hemp heads, to the tune of half a million
human beings who never hurt anyone. Being held prisoner for nothing
more than pot.
Speaking of rapists and molesters, though, Minnesota Governor Arnie
Carlson's personal bodyguard/driver, and also State Police officer,
recently got popped for sexual assault.
Come to think of it, so did two Minnesota Highway Patrol troopers.
At the mercy of rapists and killers, indeed!
And as for finding a new land of the free and home of the brave,
I say this- we already know this land is not free, it's become
the biggest police state that humanity has ever seen.
The question is: ARE YOU BRAVE?
Our nation is so fucked up because WE let it get this way.
It's up to us to set it right. It's our country, isn't it?
Sure, it's hard and scary. That's what being brave MEANS.
Those who think they are going to move to Amsterdam or some
South Pacific island are not only pathetically mistaken to
think that they can run and hide, but they display a treacherous
cowardice to the welfare of the country they were born in.
Make no mistake, there will be no place to hide. If the citizens
of the United States continue to allow psychotic fascists to make
our national policy, our nation will become an empire capable of
enslaving the world, and every smaller, freer nation will come
under it's control, as well as every insignificant island.
No, the fight will be won or lost right here in the US of A.
And it will be won or lost by you and me.
We're fighting a force more evil and more powerful than the nazis,
and the only way to resist is every way you can.
Our national morality and honor is at stake, as well as our personal
integrity. What we do to face this crisis is what we are. Each of
us must decide how much words like "Freedom" and "Justice" mean.
Sitting around and talking don't mean shit.
You may have to work, hard, you may have to go to jail, you may have
to risk your life. You may have to give your life, in order for
true Freedom and Justice to be restored to this country.
Some things are worth fighting and dying for.
Being a pawn and minion in a police state is not a life worth living.
Personally, I'll stay and do everything I can to resist the tyranny
that threatens my country. And I'll stop it, or I'll die trying.
What are you gonna do?
