A Christian response to Darwinian theories of Evolution:
...Here can be seen the false dichotomy raised by some of those who would
use science to show the folly of a world view which included a supernatural
intelligence. theistic belief is not an alternative to physical science,
disproving it or devaluing it, it is a context in which the truths explored
by science can be set. This is a question not of physics, but of
metaphysics, and as Ward has correctly said, the contrary view to theism is
not science, but materialism, which is as much a thing of faith as is
religious belief...

He could have anything bound to that port, the only way you

where attempting to hack it. For all the rest of us know
he could have ssh on port 80.

Darwinism and Race the same point can be made about those who applied
Darwinism at the level of race. Natural selection was seen as merely a
negative process weeding out the less successful forms produced by a
purposeful upward trend. the German Darwinist Ernst Haeckel welcomed the
subordination of "less advanced" races, which he saw as relics of earlier
stages in the advance from the apes, preserving a child-like mentality. His
ideas have been linked to the subsequent emergence of Nazism, and there can
be no doubt that evolutionism offered many opportunities for those who
wished to see the white race as the pinnacle of progress. Yet Haeckel
adopted a Lamarckian view of the origin of races, while the Nazis were
uncomfortable with the evolutionary view of human origins precisely because
it proclaimed a common origin for all races. they wanted no blood
relationship between Aryans and the inferior types. Evolutionism was widely
applied to develop an ideology of struggle, but Darwinism as we know it
today was only one component of Victorian -- and later -- right wing values.

Wow, you went to the trouble of searcing for that link, huh? Or was it in your
bookmarks?
(It's funny you went to the trouble of finding a "suck my cock" article, yet
you failed to find a link to prove to me that ISDN doesn't use 2B1Q.
Interesting priorities, Jim.)
>not wanting to listen to this has little to do with homophobia.
You can deny it all you want, but posting an artle "Homosexuals add a lot for
the community" in mn.general basically proves your homophobia.
>Your the one who claims toe have 'mystery' girl friends no one knows of.
I have lots of friends (many friends of friends actually). The very few whom
you have met thought I was crazy for hanging out with you as long as I did.
They were right, I should have listened to them a long time ago.
>this is a fact!
>that was a little bit more than I wanted to know.
>You're a strange one whether you are gay or not.
Strange from your point of view has absolutely no validity to me whatsoever.
>You are stubborn have a terrible memory and get all worked up over such
>minute things such as the weather and your drive from point A to point B and
>then talk about it unending like that guy giving his life story on the movie
>Airplane.
That's pretty petty compared to your shortcomings. Everyone I've spoken with
(including some whom I work with) think you are the biggest moron that ever
walked the planet.
>I think in his own odd way, Jim may be making a pass at you, Aaron.

>Watch your back. ;-)
Yeah, he has winked at me a couple times... At first I thought he was just
blinking his eyes as normal people do, but it seemed like there was something
a little, well... more.... :-)
Just go through this stupid thread and read the stuff you have said.....how old are
you for peet sakes!!! Give me a break and grow up!
Nathan
Wherre in your dreams I haven't seen you at work for quite a while I think
you have that confused with the transvestite on our shift. I'm certain you
two would get along like glue.

Yeah, but you're the one making the passes at me, calling me sweety pie and
all. :-)
