Position: Sr. R&D Engineer-Timing Analysis - CA
Job Responsibilities:
Client is seeking a talented and senior technical contributor to join a high caliber team
working on strategic Static Timing Analysis projects. Projects will include working with
others to define and develop key features in an incremental static timing engine in order
to satisfy the emerging needs of next generation design planning tools and other key
next generation products. The responibilities will include development of algorithms and
software architecture to facilitate the needs of the client products. Static Timing Analysis
and timing convergence are key areas of importants to the design flow of modern
electronic design. This position will provide a challenging opportunity in a critical area.
Job Requirements Include:
At least 3 years of experience in C++ or C, under UNIX. Experience in development of
large and complex software project (>50K) in C with emphasis on advanced algorithms
and data structures. Familiarity with ASIC design issues and the verification process.
Knowledge of gate level delay modeling and static timing algorithms and technology is
a big plus. This candidate should have a strong software engineering background, and
capable of taking well defined problems and solving them with the minimum of
supervision. Familiarity with logic synthesis and physical design tools is also a big plus.
Education:
MS in CS/EE or higher, or BS in CS/EE with at least 4 years experience.
