Person is responsible for validation of new equipment and
new processes. Knowledge of production floor processes,
mainly resistance welding and soldering, helpful in order to
develop innovative ways to reduce cycle time and
production scrap. Use DOE and statistical methods to
evaluate and document engineering research and provide
accurate report writing. Must be available to trouble shoot
emergent production floor issues. Coordinate capital
requests to bring in new equipment. Knowledge of JIT and
Kanban needed to develop efficient production floor layouts.
