Metaphase Technology, the developer of the Metaphase suite of
Product Data Management (PDM) software, is recognized as the premier
enterprise information management solution provider to Fortune 100
companies around the world
We are currently looking for a Technical Writer to join our
Publications team that designs and produces hardcopy and hypertext
documentation and online help describing the installation, use,
and customization of Metaphase PDM software supported on a variety
of UNIX, Windows, Macintosh, and Web-based platforms. Will use and
give feedback on product design specifications and work closely
with development teams. Documentation may cover client/server
architecture, configuration management, workflow, native Web clients,
object-orientated design, and relational databases.
Qualifications include a Degree in Technical Communications or
related field, a minimum of 4 years of technical writing experience,
including documentation experience with large computer-related
software systems, and familiarity with SGML/XML authoring tools.
