Are there any restaurants (Perkins, Culver's, McD, the like) along
Highway 100 -- maybe between 394 and 5? Gotta collect Small Child and
I'm looking for a reasonable meeting place between me and Brooklyn
Center.

Thanks.

Perkins on W 50th Street in Edina. But 394 is quite a bit south of Brooklyn
Center. There is a Perkins near Brookdale.

Not too many restaurants on Hwy 100 itself, but mostly off to the
cross-streets.

Ie. plenty of them on 394 right before you get to Hwy 100.
Chillis, Fridays, Good Morning Cafe, Subway, Great Wall, Taste of India.
(even if it does look kind of desolate with all the office buildings
around them torn down for some huge new development).

Get a little more in on Xenia by Home Depot and you have a strip mall
with many more, Brueggers, Quiznos, Dairy Queen, LeeAnnChin.. etc.

Otherwise, there's a huge Perkins in Edina on 50th St.
Or a whole ton around 50th and France going in further.

Still more on Lake Street as well as Cty Road 7 in towards downtown some.

Thanks, Mike. I'm hoping to go further north than the Perkins of 50th.
Doesn't have to be a Perkins - that was just an example.

My recommendation on the west side of Excelsior Blvd would be Bunny's.
Great chow all around.

Try maps.google.com and find a business near the location you will be
at. Restaurants near St. Louis Park got me a Lunds or Byerly's and a
Olive Garden not to far off 100 just south of the 394 area.

I'm thinking the Olive Garden off 394 will work nicely. Thanks for the
help.

I love Vitali's Bistro. It has a warm atmosphere and a nice children's play area.
