Good Morning MN-GRIN Members,

 

We are pleased to invite you to our next meeting happening on Wednesday, February 2^nd at 9:00am. Throughout the 2021-2022 season, MN-GRIN is focusing on the strategies, struggles, and learning experiences that come with managing content in a remote work environment. We are looking forward to sharing and learning from our fellow government records management professionals as we navigate this new era together. Our February meeting features the following presentation:

 

Getting Governed with Data Management Plans (DMPs)

Linse Lahti, Data Governance Program Administrator, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources

In today’s world, data stewards can have a hard time navigating the policies and procedures coming from (sometimes siloed) records management, data practices, data governance, and IT programs. Join us for a presentation and discussion about the value of Data Management Plans (DMPs) and how they’re helping to streamline the implementation of data and information management requirements for staff at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Linse Lahti, DNR’s data governance program administrator, will be sharing insights from DNR’s 5 years of experience championing DMPs.
