o   What the office does

SPEAKERS:  Casey Carmody and Ellen Jaquette

Speaker Bios:

Casey Carmody, Sr. Policy Analyst

Casey Carmody is a Senior Policy Analyst for the Data Practices Office at the Minnesota Department of Administration. Mr. Carmody received an M.A. in Media Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where his thesis focused on media law. He joined the Department of Administration in 2019. Previously, Mr. Carmody managed data practices as a communications specialist for the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.

Ellen Jaquette, Sr. Policy Analyst

Ellen Jaquette is a Senior Policy Analyst for the Data Practices Office at the Minnesota Department of Administration. She holds both a J.D. and M.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and previously served as a librarian in academic law libraries as well as the Minnesota Historical Society and Minnesota State Law Library before joining the Department of Administration in 2021.
