Retention of Sharepoint and Teams

The Department of Human Services is exploring the options for record retention management in Sharepoint and Teams.  We are seeking information regarding what other agencies are doing around retention of documents or automated systems to assist in records management as it relates to SharePoint and Teams.  Thank you
