Are any of you using retention labeling within your SharePoint or Teams environments? If so, would you be willing to share what software you’re using and your experiences with it?

We’re currently evaluating Microsoft Purview and BigID. Both offer advantages, but we’re facing challenges, particularly the large number of labels we’d need, or the amount of permissions/policy work per label, to ensure that department records liaisons can only view their own items.

If anyone is open to sharing their experiences or would be willing to have a brief conversation, I would really appreciate it.
