Speaker Bios (updated):
Ellen Jaquette, JD, MA
Ellen Jaquette is a Senior Policy Analyst for the Data Practices Office at the Minnesota Department of Administration. She holds both a J.D. and M.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and previously served as a librarian in academic law libraries as well as the Minnesota Historical Society and Minnesota State Law Library before joining the Department of Administration in 2021.
Casey Carmody, MA
Casey Carmody is the Assistant Director of the Data Practices Office at the Minnesota Department of Administration. He received a B.S. in Political Science and Mass Communication from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an M.A. in Media Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where his thesis focused on media law. He joined the Department of Administration in 2019. Previously, Mr. Carmody managed data practices for the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board as the board’s communications specialist.
