Welcome back for our 2025-2026 Programming Year. The Coordinating Committee got a late start in planning our program year and needs your help.
Would you like to join our Coordinating Committee? We are always looking for help in planning our programming each year and contacting speakers. If so, please let one of us know.
We are looking for ideas on topics to present and people to present them for our program year that starts now and runs thru May 2026.
· Do you have an idea for a topic?
· Would you like to present a topic at a future meeting? We are looking for all kinds of topics in the IG world.
· Is there a project you are currently working on that you are excited to share?
· Do you know someone who can speak to a topic who would be happy to talk for free, (we don’t charge dues) that you’d like us to check into for an upcoming meeting?
We have had vendors present on a topic in the past if they don’t spend more than a minute or two plugging “their” brand. Do you have suggestions on a vendor/topic?
Topic ideas that we are looking for feedback on any interest:
· Outsourcing your box repository.
· How to use purview in M365 G License.
· AI (Artificial Intelligence). Do you know a good AI vendor?
Finally, would you be interested in a $10 tour of the Minnesota Institute of Art? They charge by the person about a month in advance. We were thinking of asking them if they can show us how they take care of their collections. We have not done a physical session in a while. This would be for the May meeting. We would need enough people to be interested (15) to set-up a tour. If you’re interested, please contact Charles Stech directly via email at charle...@minneapolismn.gov.
Our first meeting will be November 5, 2025. Charles Stech will be talking about Records Management 101. Look for more information to follow.
