My brother David Lynn Kent W0RU passed away February 2, 2026.  Dave fought Parkinson’s for 20 years.  I was amazed by his positive attitude during such suffering.

In the 1960s it was David that got us both into Ham Radio.  He was the operator while I handled the construction of the antennas, etc.  We made a good team.

David enjoyed being a part of MARTS.  He appreciated his Ham friends.

The world has gone insane.
Everything has become a Rorschach test. Everything is what you wish it to
be or not ...........or is and not all at the same time.
I need to back away and take a break from the insanity. I wish all
people well, especially all those that have been part of MN-ARTS.
It is an opportune moment to step away as I am no longer an officer of
the club due to the expiration of my term.
Although I have always considered the hosting of the monday night MN-ARTS
net to be a separate entity from any affiliation from the club, and have
found it to be a wonderful group of really kind people, I will not be
hosting it in the future. I....need......a...........break..
If someone wants to continue it, you have my gratitude and blessing. I
only suggest you check in with the the 25/85 people to ensure to respect
their oversight.
I've been over a microscope, telescope, spectrograph, cw receiver. bottle
of generated hydrogen (what happens if I put a lit match in there?) etc,
since I was old enough to know an eyepiece from an objective, but the world
has moved..............on....?
We are in a world of trouble and I wish I could get on a Musk ride to
Mars to escape.

Thanks for letting us know Tom.  If you can, please let us know when there will be a funeral.
