Gang,
Not ham related but certainly electrical.  I was in Batteries plus today and saw a display of LED 110V light bulbs.  Claimed to be a 100W replacement.  4 bulbs for.......wait for it..........$.99!  So I got a pack thinking "Ok when these things don't work and/or are as noisy as one of Mert's spark gap transmitters I'll be out 99 cents.  But I'll be..they work, are bright, and I can't find any noise coming from them.
 Brand is MaxLite.
