OK, so it took 3 times to get the right link when I posted about this - but who's counting.

I took a 9v battery and my trusty 200 MhzTex scope and tested a 24 foot cable - pics attached. I could have gotten a little finer resolution.

Whoever commented that the display would be nicer on a 1 gig scope would seem to be correct - but I can see this.

Delay (2 way trip) 64 ns

If I did the calcs right, the velocity factor is .75
