In thinking about the Buildathon,  there were a couple of issues that affect me personally
1. I have only so much skill and can't do too much in a 2 or 3 hour time frame
2. I'd like to do something  that could be useful to me ( and perhaps others)

So, I ran across this outfit called Pacific Antenna - strange name since they mainly do low cost QRP stuff. They do sell a few radio kits, but I found a 41 db step attenuator for a reasonable price. Supposed to handle 5 w continuous or 10 briefly. Also claimed to work up to 200 Mhz.

https://www.qrpkits.com/attenuator.html There's a menu on the left of the page for their other products.

I know absolutely nothing about this outfit.

Harry,

I agree that this seems like a very useful item, and should be able to be completed in a reasonable time period.

Definitely something I could use.  (And have been threatening to acquire for years!)

That looks like a decent kit, and it is 1/3 the price of the Elecraft version I built years ago.
