Gang,

   Several years ago, our friend Craig Johnson, AAØZZ, brought up the
subject of one of the definitive books on electronics, "The Art of
Electronics" by Horowitz & Hill.  I actually took the liberty of
purchasing a copy.  If you did not, you can get it as a pdf here and
download it yourself:

I agree with Leon and have a copy of The Art of Electronics myself. However, if you really want to level up your inventing game ( I'm talking Wallace and Gromit level) you need a copy of Electronics for Dogs. I have been searching for a copy for years.
