FYI.

Planning Stategy 10 and 11 both are MTS .

The first strategy i.e 10 is purely make to stock with net requirements planning i.e. the consumption/receipts will reduce the Planned independent requirements. Normally used in consumer goods and automotive industries.Create Demand in MD61 -50 Pcs , Create Stock of 100 pc , Run MRP-MD03 and check the result in MD04.

The second strategy i.e. 11 is also make to stock but it is gross requirements planning i.e. the consumption/receipts shall not reduce the PIR. Normally it is used in cement,steel and cigarette industries.Create Stock-100 and create demand in MD61-50 pc and assign Plannnig stategy 11 and mark the MIxed MRP indicator -2 in MRP3 view .Run MRP in md03 and check the result in MD04 .It will not consider the existing stock and create Planned Order for 50 pc again .
