Dear All,
The first iPad I saw was in April (a visitor from USA) and it was
already broken (she'd dropped it and cracked the screen) so I know
they are vulnerable. I really like my iPhone case as it has more than
once saved my iPhone from disaster when dropped from a height and
wanted a similar one for the iPad but when I was in the shop in
TouchWood I didn't see anything like that. Anyway to cut a long story
short I found the same firm (Contour) did do an iPad case (the iSee)
and so I bought it straight away - it fits snugly round the whole
screen. However I wondered whether it really would save the iPad if
the unthinkable happened.
Yesterday morning it did - my son has Asperger's Syndrome and
occasionally has unpredicable violent outbursts. He had been asked to
get ready for breakfast but the iPad was on his place at the table -
he dashed it to the tiled kitchen floor......:( I was livid and as it
was upside down was sure it would be smashed, but amazingly it was
fine - thanks Contour! If any iPad owner is still wondering what case
to get this is definitely the one I recommend. It comes with a stand
which holds it upright or at a shallow angle for typing.
