Thanks. only a quick response for now.
BBC now okay, so they must have remedied the problem.
I've not tried Chrome, but Firefox ask me to upload new plugins, which I'm then told are incompatible.
I had the same problem with BT's help centre. They asked me to download a checking application, which I could not open.
I'll be back. BT may have contacted me again soon. My contact did say she was part time. Very part, it seems!

It's a simple way to rule out the issue being on the connection vs on the Mac.Post some screenshots and links to the pages, they can help see what is happening, maybe send them to BT if you can't get anywhere with it.Re:coOn 15 May 2013, at 13:15, Jeffrey Eccleston wrote:That's BT billing and BBC news only. For some time I've had problems with the webpage of my BT account. On logging in to my account there was normally a screen with the balance and current usage for about a second, then it went blank. There have been other problems, but it's now back to the original problem of a screen going blank. I am in contact with their complaints department, but no response yet. However, I've just had a problem with my bill resulting in a temporary cutoff. On restoration, I've also (coincidentally?) now got the same problem with clicking on news items on most BBC news pages, except those in the magazine and exchange rate pages. Also no problem with the sports or weather pages.I had thought the BT problem may have been something to do with my system (Powerbook G4 867 MHz and Safari 4.1.3), but why suddenly the same problem now with BBC as well? Any ideas?Jeffrey Eccleston----MMUG is an Apple User Group.
