Dear All

The battery for my 15" Macbook Pro has finally died. Am happy to shell
out for a new one from the Bullring store, however as this is no
longer my primary machine, I just wondered if someone in the MMUG
Collective might have one going spare which they are prepared to part
with.

If not, can anyone suggest ANother reliable supplier other than the
Apple Store?

Many thanks as always

Chris

Dear Chris, I used Plugplayer (plugp...@gmail.com) through Ebay. They are made in China, new, and do the job and will save you money (about £30 for a 13" Ibook, they do all the others) I was quite worried coz old meany here declined the extra for express tracked shipment and went for free std airmail which took 3-4 weeks nail-biting!

Thanks Jack

That's very interesting.... though it seems the battery problem I'm having isn't actually the battery afterall. Looks like a Logic Board issue, just as the Applecare lapsed a few months ago. Typical!

Merry Christmas!

Chris
